In times like these, it’s easy to find yourself in a creative rut. It’s hard to find routine, the light at the end of the tunnel is seeming further and further away, even the weekends are beginning to feel like a 2-day lunch break.
But, hey! What’s this? A stretch in the evenings? Another whopper Netflix show to binge on? Could it even be… a flash fiction contest?! That’s right, your girls got your back. Time to clean out the cobwebs and put those creative juices to use.
The Panorama Flash Fiction Contest was set up to invoke a sense of community. In a time where we must stay far apart, writing can bring us together while conveying a wide panorama of human experiences.

We are thrilled with the beautiful artwork by Graeme Coughlan for the cover of Issue IV! It perfectly captures the theme of Glorious.
Graeme Coughlan is a photographer, actor and filmmaker from Dublin. Recently he just picked up an award for best actor for his role in “Bluebell” which is currently making it’s way through the international festival circuit. His photography work focuses mainly on nature and the natural form and a collection of his work is currently being displayed in Kennedy’s Cafe Clontarf.

Submissions for Sonder Issue IV are now open! The theme of this issue is Glorious, in ode to the winning story of the Morning Coffee Writing Competition. We think it’s time the world needs a little hope, and what word greater than glorious to inspire it? Write whatever it means to you.
This magazine is all about bringing different perspectives together. Everyone is wildly and magically different. We are about reflecting those differences and, ultimately, what brings us together.
We are accepting short stories, poetry, flash fiction, creative nonfiction and artwork for the cover.
Mama may I, do we have news for you! The winners of the Morning Coffee Writing Competition have been chosen and we couldn’t be happier!
The support and generosity towards this contest has been overwhelming so we wanted to make a nice thing to give our thanks and celebrate the winning pieces. And so…
Join us this Wednesday at 7pm at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Iizmatl_oE for a wee Virtual Announcement, where the fantastic guest judge Sarah Davis Goff will announce the winners, along with a quick Q&A with the three winners! There will be thanks, there will be joy. (We promise, there is no awkward dancing this time. Just pure, unadulterated gratitude.)
